The Panama Canal & The Wonders of Costa Rica
A Photographic Expedition Diary of Heiko and Gisela Spallek
Traveling with Lindblad Expeditions is an exceptional experience.
After our first trip to the Galapagos Islands in 2006 we came to say: "Once Lindblad, always Lindblad".
"Panama and the Wonders of Costa Rica" offered an amazing variety of experiences, including the transit of the Panama Canal; visits to a variety of National Parks along Costa Rica's coastline and time on land in Monteverde Cloud Forest and Arenal Volcano. Among the many highlights were rain-forest hikes amid monkeys, sloths and tropical birds, a swim with (small) sharks and coral reef fish, as well as a walk over the hanging bridges in Monteverde.
Travel Itinerary (see left):
When travelling with Lindblad, you explore the area by small ship. We were cruising aboard the Sea Voyager which is equipped with single and double kayaks and a fleet of Zodiacs for shoreline expeditions and landing.
We invite you to browse through these pages which feature a few of our photographs taken on this trip.
Enjoy.
